A Team Driven by Passion, Dedication, and Collaboration
Since our inception, PRz Racing has been building race cars to compete in the prestigious Formula Student competitions—the largest student engineering contests in the world. At these events, we face off against the best teams globally, pushing us to continuously improve our vehicles.
We are one of the fastest-growing Formula Student teams in Poland. With determination, innovative designs, and ongoing development, we tackle ever-greater challenges, achieving increasingly impressive results.
Working together, we not only create vehicles but also enhance our technical and organizational skills. Being part of PRz Racing is an opportunity to pursue our passion and gain hands-on experience that prepares us for careers in the automotive and technology industries. PRz Racing is where ideas turn into reality, and every project is a step forward on the path to the pinnacle of motorsport.
PRz Racing was founded in 2013 at the Rzeszów University of Technology by a group of students who wanted to combine their passion for motorsport with learning and working on real engineering projects.
The early years were filled with challenges—we had to learn many new skills and gain the necessary experience. Our first race car was a significant achievement and marked the beginning of a journey that led us to international Formula Student competitions.
With each passing year, our projects have improved, and our competition results have become increasingly rewarding. Today, PRz Racing proudly represents the Rzeszów University of Technology, achieving world-class victories on the international stage. Our story is far from over, and every new race car we build is a testament to what can be accomplished through passion and hard work.

Aerodynamics is one of the most critical aspects of any race car. It is responsible for generating the downforce needed to improve grip, accelerate faster, and navigate corners with confidence. At PRz Racing, we design and manufacture our aerodynamic components in-house using materials such as carbon fiber, aramid, and fiberglass. This approach gives us complete control over quality and precision.
The design process relies heavily on advanced computer simulations (using ANSYS software), allowing us to analyze airflow and implement necessary optimizations. This ensures our vehicles perform at their best on the track.

Chassis is the foundation of our race car, ensuring stability, durability, and safety for the entire vehicle. Our team focuses on designing, strength analysis, and manufacturing the chassis to meet the highest competition standards and withstand the rigorous demands of the racetrack.
Our latest race car, the PMT-06, is built entirely with a durable steel frame. While our previous designs featured a hybrid structure—combining a lightweight and robust monocoque front with a framed rear—in the PMT-07, we plan to return to a monocoque design. For the first time in our team’s history, the car will feature a fully self-supporting structure. This innovation will make our vehicle lighter and more efficient than ever before.
We also prioritize driver ergonomics, designing the car to perfectly suit our drivers, ensuring maximum comfort and safety. This allows them to focus entirely on driving, regardless of track conditions.

The Suspension Section is responsible for ensuring optimal grip between the tires and the track, as well as delivering predictable and precise vehicle behavior. This team also designs the entire vehicle's kinematics, allowing us to fine-tune the suspension characteristics to meet the specifications of our race car.
The goal of the Suspension Section is to achieve the perfect balance between driver comfort and on-track performance. Our suspension components are made from a variety of materials, including aluminum, chrome-molybdenum steel, and select parts crafted from carbon composites and titanium. This combination ensures a lightweight yet durable system that enhances performance and reliability on the track.

The Electronics Section of our Formula Student research group is a team of passionate innovators dedicated to designing and integrating advanced electronic systems in our race cars. Combining engineering expertise with a constant drive for innovation, we specialize in developing high-voltage batteries that ensure performance, safety, and compatibility with the unique requirements of our vehicles.
We also design and refine a proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) to optimize battery functionality and safety. Additionally, we create a custom low-voltage wiring harness to ensure reliable integration of all the vehicle's electronic components.
Our team continually improves safety systems to protect critical components from overloads and short circuits, while our onboard computer software ensures seamless operation of all systems. Through this comprehensive approach, we build innovative race cars ready to meet the challenges of the racetrack and set new benchmarks in automotive technology.

The IT Section is where a passion for technology meets practical skills to develop innovative solutions in the field of information technology.
One of our key achievements is the development of a telemetry system, involving low-level coding and long-distance data transmission from the race car. This system provides critical insights into vehicle performance during competitions.
Additionally, we are working on solutions for autonomous race cars, developing software and systems that enable vehicles to operate without driver input. This cutting-edge project demonstrates our commitment to the future of automotive technology.
Beyond innovation, the IT Section provides technical support to our team and other sections. Our expertise allows us to solve various IT-related challenges and ensure the team’s operations run smoothly.

The Manufacturing Section plays a crucial role during the design phase by supporting other sections with expertise in the manufacturability of designed components and preparing the necessary technical infrastructure for the production phase of the race cars.
The primary responsibility of this section is to develop the technological process for machining, 3D printing, welding, and finishing operations. This includes coordinating with a wide network of partner companies providing part fabrication services, as well as spending countless hours operating machinery to produce components using the available equipment.
Equally important is ensuring a steady supply of materials for semi-finished products and consumables, particularly those required for composite production.
In addition to production, team members are responsible for maintaining the technical condition of previous race cars built by the team.
Manufacturing is the backbone of our race car—it ensures that every element is meticulously crafted, durable, and ready to perform at the highest level.
